Results and Effectiveness
This idea was very well accepted by consumers, and brought to NIVEA an excellent perception of an innovative, friendly and cool brand.
NIVEA won a great repercussion mouth to mouth at the Brazilian coast, been recognized as the nicest brand for beach lovers.
NIVEA will do the ad again. Now in the European and American summer.
Creative Execution
Rio de Janeiro was chose to have the charger ad, first for having the most clamorous beaches in Brazil and because carioca’s (people originally from Rio) are famous for enjoying the outdoors life.
The campaign has made use of two media newspaper and magazine.
Insights, Strategy and the Idea
Nowadays, people are more and more connected to gadgets, Nivea Sun has come up with highly innovative way to charge cellphones without missing the best in summer: the sun.
Nivea Sun has designed the first cell phone charger ad. The user plugs a USB cable into the ad, through a solar plate without leaving the sun.
