Describe the challenges and key objectives

Address international urban target groups of middle to high social level in German speaking markets and transport the high pureness and extraordinary quality of the product. Creating a brand which combines communication of social and ecological sustainability with a lifestyle-touch.

Describe the brief from the client

Brand creation for a new organic olive oil produced in Greece by Austrian entrepreneurs with a strong social background: The whole profit goes into international education programs for socially unprivileged children. The product has an exceptionally high quality level, the oil is of high pureness, which should be communicated by the branding. The visual language also should communicate the company's strong focus on sustainablity.

Describe how you arrived at the final design

A fresh, light, modern design to address urban target groups worldwide regardless of cultural differences. No traditional olive oil romanticism in the brand design. Colours: olive-green was essential, white communicates freshness & pureness. The letters o & a in “Noan” are connected in the shape of the mathematical sign for infinity to highlight sustainability. Abstracted olive leafs form an irregular frame around the logo.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The first pressing sold very succesfully with many clients commending the nice brand design.
