Description:
Working closely with the noted graphic artist John Higgins The Chase designed a set of six stamps commemorating the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. Designed in a comic-book style to appeal to a younger audience, each stamp is divided by the relevant London streets, or in one case the River Thames, to create two or three image panels not only mimicking the style of graphic novels but also adding a sense of place to the action as the drama of the story unfolds.
