Description:
Our purpose with the project is to develop a distinct environment experience for patients and visitors of the new Zaans Medical Centre, which contributes positively to recovery.
The outcome includes two years of illustrative work, a wayfinding system and 3,500 m2 of hand-drawn illustrations scattered throughout the hospital walls, glass facades, light boxes and elevators. A solution which fully integrates with the architecture, supporting the orientation in the building and providing positive distraction.
