Creative idea explanation: Up Up Hippo is an educational program run by PepsiCo in Poland. Its goal is to encourage recycling and proper disposal of plastic containers. The program is based on a smartphone game, controlled by... a plastic bottle. By squeezing a plastic bottle kids make the titled Hippo move: pump up his flat tire, release balloons, make him sail and fly. All they have to do is squeeze a plain bottle, no other devices or connections needed. Recycling lessons took place in dozens of kindergartens and schools. And each game played means at least one properly crushed bottle.
