Synopsis:
As Ireland faced the peak of its homeless crisis in 2019, An Post, Ireland’s national postal service, felt the urge to act. The irony of homelessness is that to get help you need an address. Without it, access to health, education, housing and employment are impossible to obtain. An Post sought to find a way to fix this systematic issue and return the power of direct mail to this audience. An Post created Address Point, a free nationwide service that provides a fixed address to those without a fixed home. Address Point has been adopted by over 50% of the adult homeless population.
