Synopsis:
Each year 40 tons of plastic are carried to the ocean by the Danube. Global 2000 wanted to make aware of this fact.
If we don’t reduce our plastic usage and therefore our rivers continue to carry our plastic waste into our oceans, they are literally drowning in plastic.
We showed that our oceans are in danger to overflow with our plastic waste, by showing an ocean’s surface made out of plastic.
