Synopsis:
HBO's documentary “Suited” follows the bespoke tailors at the Brooklyn-based venture Bindle & Keep as they outfit gender non-conforming and transgender clients searching for the perfect suit. Exploring the personal experiences of Bindle & Keep's clients, “Suited” thoughtfully adds to the ongoing conversation of modern identity and gender by highlighting the power, comfort, and confidence that comes from clothing that complements the body. In celebration of the premiere of “Suited,” HBO partnered with THE TENTH, an art and culture collective that engages some of the world’s most talented Black LGBTQ artists and intellectuals in creative encounters to develop cutting edge content. To coincide with the Provincetown International Film Festival, THE TENTH and HBO hosted “UNTAGGED,” a photography exhibition that explored the relationship between perceived and projected identity, at the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
