Synopsis:
In a world where violence against women is so prolific, it's shocking to think that South Africa's abuse rate is five times higher than the global average. But that's the reality. In fact, 3 women die every day in this country at the hands of their partners. And yet we allow the abuse to continue by making excuses to justify this grotesque behaviour.Carling Black Label, South Africa's largest and most loved beer brand, has been talking to men and defining masculinity for decades. They're also acutely aware of the link between alcohol and violence, which is why they see it as their responsibility to use their influence to talk to men about this issue. Their aim is to mobilise our men to take action against gender-based violence and the excuses that surround this epidemic, because they believe there is #NoExcuse for women abuse.
