Organ donation is among the most difficult topics to generate awareness among people.
With that in mind, J. Walter Thompson Buenos Aires developed “Donor Cars”: a metaphor that reflects how simple but powerful the concept of organ donation is.
To do so, we went to Argentina´s largest official scrapyard and salvaged the working parts of cars that were about to be shredded, and then offered the local taxi companies to fix their broken down or damaged cars with those parts for free. On one condition only: they should drove around without changing the original color of their “donors”.
