De VakantieDiscounter is the fastest growing online travel agency of the Netherlands. Although sales are up each year (due to SEO and the like), nobody knows the brand. Hence the brief: create awareness and brand recognition.
IDEA
'De VakantieDiscounter' is a very generic name. In fact, the name itself tells you all you need to know: affordable holidays. So, when the name is doing all the communication, let's not create one big ad but a series of fun, short idents that grab your attention and hammer home the brand as many times as possible.
How to get attention in January - the month famous for travel ads? The category is defined by filmed brochures of pools and beaches and more pools and more beaches. So, we decided to twist these holiday clichés to create a quirky, unexpected campaign that you can't ignore.
