Brief Explanation
This charming, emotional spot for dishwashing liquid breaks away from featuring the usual housewife with her stacks of clean plates. The spot stars one of the greasiest animals ever to grace a human’s plate, the pig. In the film, we see a little pig, alive as ever, plagued by a dish clinging to his backside. With a melancholy soundtrack for a backdrop, he escapes the farm and fails in his desperate attempts to break free. In the film’s final moments, the pig reaches the proverbial crossroads. He chooses a path and finds his way to a washerwoman who just happens to be using Sunlight Dishwashing Liquid. The spot ends with the pig liberated from his pain. He’s finally separated from the plate, ever so subtly sending the message that Sunlight separates clingy grease from your dishes like no other dishwashing liquid can.
