Synopsis:
In India, 17 people die in road accidents every hour, most of them pedestrians. And accidents are 5x more likely when it rains. Many of the accidents could be avoided with messaging in high incident areas and general awareness of the issue amongst both pedestrians and drivers. With the coming monsoon season, Chevrolet saw an opportunity to help by starting a nationwide conversation around road safety.Primary target are pedestrians at high-accident areas in key cities. Secondary are drivers and general audiences. Challenges: low awareness of road safety and lack of road signs, at many high accident areas and none designed specifically for wet road conditions.
