As the #1 motorcycle insurer, Progressive is passionate about riders and the motorcycle community. In 2015, we created Flo’s Chop Shop pop-up salons and men’s health awareness and charity component, Mos & Motos to thank these customers and encourage future ones. At Chop Shops, Progressive pampered bikers at rally stops across America and offered everything from free shaves, beard trims and boot shines to manicures, maps and sunscreen. In November, Progressive put its money where its mouth is, or just slightly above, when they became an official sponsor of the Movember Foundation. The non-profit encourages the unbridled growing of men’s handlebar, Chaplin or Fu Manchu throughout the month of November to raise funds and awareness to fight men’s health issues like prostate cancer. At Progressive’s International Motorcycle Show, Progressive Parlors offered attendees free beard trims, donated $10 for each Movember shave and matched visitor donations. Mustaches were left unharmed.
