NFL fans are legion, and they are obsessed. They are beset by promotional messages and offers from companies. (There’s a reason Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest day in marketing.) Visa wanted to be the number one brand among all NFL advertisers, and its My Football Fantasy program delivered. A campaign illustrating Visa’s concepts of great football fantasies was launched across all media, and fans were invited to submit theirs. A handful of the best were selected and posted on social media. During the four months of the campaign, Visa gained the number one share of voice in that channel, besting names like Nike and Budweiser.
