Implementation
Our idea was to run the world 1st 'shaking it' public bus service! We redesigned the public bus that connects Tokyo’s biggest night spots, into a space which is a fusion of music, art and technology. Each passenger was given a ZIMA bottle with a motion sensor installed. Their movement generated musical animated visualizations.
Client Brief Or Objective
ZIMA is a beverage designed to bring out the excitement of the night.Club hoppers take at least two buses a night in order to move from one club to another! Excitement drops every time they have to get on the bus.
Outcome
220,000 night players experienced the contents online and offline. More than 50 famous DJs volunteered to play music to celebrate the event. Influenced by the campaign, many of the well-known clubs in Tokyo increased their stock of ZIMA. This led to a 250% increase in sales. But most importantly, we made ZIMA-loving club-goers happy.
Execution
ZIMA is the alcohol drink to make the night come alive. However, club goers needed a kind of transportation with which they could maintain their excitement. ZIMA party shuttle was launched to keep the party feeling going even while hopping from one club to another. With the help of the event, ZIMA gained publicity as a 'fusion of transportation, art, and technology' , building its position as a leader of nightlife in Japan.
