Concept/Cultural Reference:
Amnesty International brings injustice to light around the world. To communicate this simple message, we wanted to utilize a symbol that everybody knows – the Amnesty International candle.
The task was to raise awareness for those who are victims of injustice happening around the world.
Acts of violence and torture happen behind closed doors. In the dark. Where no one can see them. Amnesty International brings those situations to light.
Using negative space, we took the Amnesty candle’s wick to show something that otherwise would not be seen – a suffering victim.
