D&F McCarthys, East Anglia’s leading supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables, recognised the need for a subsidiary brand to satisfy the demand of locally-sourced produce to the retail market.To ensure that customers (and retailers) were receiving the best quality produce that is picked, packed and delivered ‘farm-fresh’ locally - a seal of approval was conceived. An approachable mark that gestures ‘perfection’ in its pose and and reveals an apple formed by negative space.Packaging is kept minimal to work in harmony with the basic labelling system. These combined, evoke freshness, a reduced manufactured process and emphasise the provenance of the individual products.
