Describe the brief from the client
Rio de Janeiro is packed with design agencies. To conquer new clients, it is vital to show new perspectives in communication.
Describe the challenges and key objectives
In order to get noticed, Dialogo Design decided to start a public relationship with the city, promoting an idea through print, social and digital media. The aim was to start a dialogue about something that could be helpful for the community. The solution had to be popular, sociable and affordable.
Describe how you arrived at the final design
By using a downloadable A4 poster, and a Facebook page, we started a web movement to engage people with dogs and public space. Anyone could print it at home and stick it up on any street. The poster was spread all over Brazil.
Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
It ended up being showed on national TV, newspapers, blogs, and other countries (people asked for an English version). We managed to reach over 6.4m people when we were invited for an interview on one of the most popular Brazilian TV shows. Results: 'Poo-men' has been (ridiculed). We were contacted by Rio de Janeiro’s City Hall, and NGOs, to work on branding and environmental campaigns.
