Describe the brief from the client

The client has over 10 college campuses without visual standardisation to reinforce their identity. Most of the buildings have serious problems of browsing and use, because they were acquired from other companies and had previously other purposes.

The project was to meet the needs of all units. From a given identity, we should develop a flexible, decorative and durable signage.

Describe the challenges and key objectives

The main challenge was to develop a project versatile enough to meet the needs of changing spaces from semester to semester, according to new classes and student volume to each course.

Describe how you arrived at the final design

The signage consists of large areas of color and print, informative panels and pictograms inspired by the typology of the brand. Modular panels may be changed according to use of classrooms and labs. Different sectors received colour coding based on logo. We used highly durable material.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The brand identity was spread all over campus, students were able to find their classes on each semester beginning and could manage to walk around by themselves. The material allows low maintenance.
