Implementation
With the import and attention to detail Hyundai had put into this redesign we knew there was a story to be told. Rather than simply creating an informational page on the website, we wanted to bring the story to life by using the same theme of innovation and design that went into the Azera. Through smart storytelling, a rich illustrated world and compelling design, users are left with a sophisticated impression of the Azera.

Outcome
In the end, the Azera Journey contributed to a 420% lift in traffic to the vehicle page on Hyundai.com and more importantly engaged users and educated them through an immersive, entertaining world.

Brief Explanation
The Azera Journey uses deft storytelling and illustrated 3D environments to take viewers through the engineering and design process. The intuitive, scrolling navigation allows users to virtually “drive” the Azera through this imagery-rich parallax world while an original Jazz track plays in the background. Multiple environments with videos and hot spots add context with back-story and interactivity.

Client Brief Or Objective
The launch of the Azera in early 2012 was extremely important to Hyundai. It represented the culmination of a fluidic design philosophy that had been implemented throughout their lineup and a bold step forward establishing Hyundai as an innovative and stylish luxury car alternative.
