Description: The diversification of lifestyles in recent times has led to the diversification ofwishes and worries as well. Chiko Sakai of Ikegami Jissoji Temple was thinkingabout ways to meet the individual demands of every person. His attention wasdrawn to omamori traditional charms that the Japanese are familiar with.Omamori were each designed to make a specific wish such as expelling evilspirits or bringing good fortune come true. However the variety of wishes theysuited were limited. He was looking for a way to overcome this limitation.
