People expected some slick design from JEH United, but we zig when others zag so we need to show up in grand funny style.
Describe the brief from the client
JEH United is a Bangkok-based ad agency that regularly wins industry golds and does great business, but has strangely never had business cards.
Describe how you arrived at the final design
We decided to do a business/rock & roll card instead of just a business card. The one side is business, the other side rock and roll: JEH staffers use their personal mail accounts for work as often as their company email accounts. We celebrate this (and also make sure they can always be reached) by listing their personal e-mail addresses and cell numbers on the card as well.
Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The business cards are conversation-starters. It makes them laugh and want to come to our parties, which leads to better briefs later on.
