Implementation
The idea internally is “bring your bravest eyes.” We wanted to use familiar eye associations in hyper energetic ways. The cleverness of the metaphor speaks to the creativity of the films, and the applications speak to the frenetic energy of the festival.
Outcome
We tripled ticket sales (300%+) over last years festival.
Brief Explanation
Classic challenges of no budget, no time, etc. From a communications standpoint all film festivals look the same, images of important looking films, taken seriously, with palms and stars. We wanted to let people know these films would be nothing like that, but still a real treat for the eye.
