The Idea
The original idea (born on the web) was to represent, in the shortest possible way and using only graphic icons, the history of famous people, historical events, objects, movies and everything else.
Each story is squeezed into as few graphic icons as possible, with a dry and almost cynical humour.

The Idea
The original idea (born on the web) was to represent, in the shortest possible way and using only graphic icons, the history of famous people, historical events, objects, movies and everything else.
Each story is squeezed into as few graphic icons as possible, with a dry and almost cynical humour.
The Book
The book was published in the Uk by Quercus Books and also in Italy, Germany and Spain (and soon in France and Japan) by major publishing houses.
The subjects encompass everything from pop culture (Michael Jackson, The Beatles, The Simpsons) to religion (God), from history (Napoleon, French Revolution, Abraham Lincoln) to movies (The Lord of the Rings, Avatar), from objects (Computer) to places (Sahara, Manhattan) to famous people (Picasso, Gordon Ramsay, Sigmund Freud, Steve Jobs).
The Results
Besides posters, Life in Five Seconds gave life also to a facebook page, posters, videos and merchandising.
