Describe the brief from the client

A collection inspired by butterflies as art pieces, with print created exclusively for autumn/winter collection of the brand.



Describe the challenges and key objectives

The mood should feature shades of black mixed with butterfly colours.



Describe how you arrived at the final design

Inspired by the metamorphosis of butterflies and the richness of their design, transparencies and textures of their wings, we developed a scenario with layers of cotton and muslin cloth. We created images of butterflies in varied scales and opacities, and used powerful equipment to project the images on the model and light up the photo with.



The photographs were displayed on catalogue, invitation and website.



Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

It was a very well sold collection. Butterfly prints were sold out.
