Implementation
Take everything you’d normally expect from a Christmas party, and cross it out. All that’s left is the basic basics.

Outcome
No-one expected anything fancy, and so everyone mucked right in, and it was a night to remember. Or perhaps forget.

Brief Explanation
All items had to be made by hand, for tuppence. Had to set the tone. With some attitude thrown in.

Client Brief Or Objective
Celebrate 'the most austerity-measures' agency party ever with an idea that sets the right tone and expectations from the start – i.e. expect not the slightest frill.It felt inappropriate in a recession year to spend lots of hard-earned cash on a party, so the decision was made to donate a substantial portion of the original budget to the charity Crisis, helping homeless people in London over the Christmas period.
