Outcome:
The properties of the product became an eye-catching selling point. The result was a limited edition product offering two advantages at once: a unique look that stands out on the shelf and at the same time shows every tradesman that they can still rely on the original from 1973 today.
Campaign Description:
Innovative product packaging that visually resembles a metal weight and makes clear at first glance the maximum weight each wall plug can hold. The greater its power, the bigger the respective packaging. And even this is held on the store shelf by an all-purpose wall plug.
Strategy:
The aim was to demonstrate to existing and potential customers that they can still rely on the original all-purpose wall plug from 1973 today. Using the unusual packaging design, we turned the additional benefit of the wall plug itself into an eye-catching selling point.
Execution:
The design of the packaging consists of a shape that is reminiscent of a metal weight. The customer can thus recognise immediately the maximum weight each wall plug can hold.Using the product itself illustrates the benefit it offers: The product hangs on a hook on the sales shelf, which is itself supported by an all-purpose wall plug.
Synopsis:
The world’s first all-purpose wall plug came out in 1973, helping the company TOX achieve national recognition in Germany. A product that has remained unchanged to this day. To show tradesmen that they can still really on the original 43 years later, we developed a very special packaging concept.
