Describe the brief from the client

The client is Whirlpool Co. Ltd. The name comes from our goal of creating whirlpools in the world by means of creative ideas and for this to be maximally expressed in the corporate identity.

Describe the challenges and key objectives

We have interpreted the client's use of the word ‘world’ in an international perspective.

The biggest challenge for us was to develop a unique corporate identity with ease of understanding, together with the dynamics needed to create a whirlpool.

Describe how you arrived at the final design

The concept is of course, ‘Whirlpool’. We have expressed this through the image of a gymnast's ribbon. The ribbon's swirl shapes the logo. This motif is strongly expressed on the business and greeting cards, as well as stationery.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Despite being an establishment of modest size, we have asserted a strong presence in the field, and have been introduced in the creative media on numerous accounts. We have expanded our activities through working for new clients.
