Schiphol faces increasing competition from smaller airports with low-cost deals.Our challenge: to make Schiphol the preferred airport by adding emotional value.Our insight: the moment we’re going away is the moment we want to feel closest to family and friends.That's why we created Big Wave Goodbye: an app that lets you wave goodbye to a friend through your webcam and invite mutual friends to wave along. When your unsuspecting friend arrives at Schiphol, she’ll see her friends on a huge display and she’ll receive a compilation of all goodbye-wavers on her smartphone. A fabulous start of her trip!
