Synopsis:
Galactic Thunder Pony is an irreverent, ridiculous homage to classic vertical scrolling arcade games, twisted up to appeal to Boost’s audience, with a little bit of pony love thrown in to make sure it’s not all Rambo.
Galactic Thunder Pony flies relentlessly up the screen, dodging wave after wave of nasty mumbo-jumbo telco enemies while picking up space candy power-ups — and farting out rainbows, lightning bolts, throwing stars, snowflakes, butterflies, and all manner of other ridiculous Pony butt-blast weapons.
But the mumbo-jumbo enemies are persistent and insistent, wave after wave of overages, surcharges, data caps, telco execs and sales assistants.
Avoid all the mumbo-jumbo, pick up as many extra minutes as possible to keep the game going, and grab the Boost Switch whenever it flies on screen to Thunder Thrust your way to the next level on a tsunami of rainbow farts.
And whatever happens, don’t get stuck in the maniac Phone Support Queue.
The game celebrates its irreverence with lots of ridiculous player rewards and celebrations.
Stylish, Small, Fast, Light, and Endless.
The game’s classic arcade aesthetic and style allow us to keep the sprites, artwork, and asset bundle small for fast loading and fast play, and using procedural waves of aliens means the game could play on forever.
