Global athletic retailer Eastbay, in partnership with creative agency Zambezi, is today launching “Preparation Nation,” an online community that promotes that the “game” is won well before it is actually played; it is won in the hours, days and months preparing for it. Before players even step onto the practice field, it starts with having the right gear. Eastbay’s target demographic is the elite amateur high school athlete; the Varsity starters with aspirations to play in college and even professionally. As Eastbay offers the widest range of gear available online, they’re in prime position to set athletes up to take their performance to the next level. This initial program is timed with high school football season, with plans to roll out other executions around a variety of sports from basketball to baseball.
