Creative idea explanation: Every New Year we present each other useless gifts: meaningless photo frames, mugs, candles… Every year we ask ourselves the same question: what to do with all this? Teaser: on New Year's Eve Statues of Useless Gifts were installed in popular shopping centres in Moscow. Reveal: a week later, Unwanted Gift Exchange boutiques were opened at those places. Anyone could bring in their unwanted gift, tell its story and then exchange it for a box of Ferrero Rocher. Finally, boutiques have been transformed into mini Museums, which would serve as a reminder of gifts we probably should not be giving.
