The Essentials: 1st May is a commemoration of the achievements of the labour movement. The holiday may also be known as International Worker's Day or May Day and is marked with a public holiday in Ghana and other countries. With a comic book inspiration and in collaboration with one of our partner agencies, we chose to honor the essential workers who risk their lives daily and worked tirelessly to serve and save us during the hardest parts of the COVID-19 pandemic. these people have been recognized as the essential staffers and have become the heroes of our lives that we look up to.
