Creative idea explanation: Speeding is one of the main causes of traffic accidents. The INTOUCH insurance company decided to demonstrate the horrible consequences of speeding. We uploaded a video entitled “most terrible fatal car crash ever!” to YouTube. The video showed just one car following another for 10 minutes at legal speed, nothing more. But when a user pulled the timeline to find the advertised crash more quickly, in the thumbnails they saw the alternative footage showing the car stroll into the oncoming lane, followed by a head-on collision with a truck. After that we showed our message: Don’t rush!
