Credits & Description:

McCann New York has launched a new site for Jose Cuervo celebrating the heritage of the oldest tequila maker in the world. Showcasing archival imagery and artifacts from the brand’s 250 history, the new [Cuervo.com](http://www.cuervo.com/) goes back in time, imagining what the brand website would have looked like in 1795, 1880, 1945 and 1974, and introduces a contemporary site for 2014.
Background:
Jose Cuervo is the oldest tequila maker in the world, yet their illustrious history gets lost in modern drinking culture. Cuervo wanted to turn [Cuervo.com](http://www.cuervo.com/) into a hub for their heritage, but we didn’t want to just tell people about Cuervo’s history – we wanted them to experience it.
McCann New York created a website that is essentially five sites in one. Each site goes back in time through different eras in Cuervo’s past, enabling us to bring major Cuervo milestones to life in an immersive way.
