The KETTLER S-FIT App: Training motivation at its bestWith the KETTLER S-FIT App a new generation of exercise bikes finds its way to homes and gyms for those who like to have fun and a professional training at the same time. The innovative S-FIT App, as being the first Augmented Service Offering of its kind, provides a unique training experience by connecting the RACER S exercise bike to the user's smartphone via Bluetooth. The mobile device replaces the native display and allows a simple and smart user experience. Moreover the app connects the user to the KETTFIT online community where he can find professional analysis of his training results and motivation through the community. The S-FIT App was launched in November 2012 and promoted on the entire KETTLER media platform such as: KETTLER.com, Facebook, Youtube and Google Play -with a four stars rating out of five. It was also used as an in-store upsell tool. The Racer S was awarded a gold winner at the ISPO Award 2013 (international trade show for sports business) for its modern technology combined with the use of a personal smartphone.The app considers different exercise objectives represented by three training modes. FUN: This section covers the playful part of the App. The user chooses a burger, a Coke or other meals to work off. The more the user pedals the faster the meal disappears until all calories are burnt. Via Facebook and Twitter user can connect to the online community and share their newest achievements.CHALLENGE: The routes are numerous but the goal is always the same- Win the Gold Cup. Within the challenge mode the user can choose to ride the Tour de France or any other adventurous track while virtual opponents bring a racing atmosphere into the living room. EXPERT: This section offers different interval trainings for serious bikers, who can adjust them to their physical condition and personal goals for professional trainings. Within the KETTFIT online community the user has the opportunity to update the personal training calendar regularly and get analyses of training results.
