Brief Explanation
The brief
During the summer we have more time for playful moments. We were therefore asked to create an activity where the main issue was to make playful breaks during a longer period without getting board. The client wanted us to make an activity that created an interaction in the target group by letting them share what they made.
Strategy
Litago has the last couple of years done most of their marketing through social media. By investing in fun, cool and new stuff instead of paid media they have becomed one of the most innovative brands communicating in Norway. The target group knows this, love it and expect even more. Since Norway is a world leading country when it comes to smartphones and tablets the brand can be pretty confident on the fact that the target group are reachable and ready for smart phone innovation. Previous campaigns have shown us that the more the target audience play with the brand, the more they buy the brand.
The solution
Litago is a flavoured milk brand manifested through an iconic cow loved by the target audience. Their brand promise: A playful break from everyday life. So when we got the brief to make a new campaign we thought it would be nice to give the kids a possibility to play and share the things that's surrounds them in everyday life. We created Snap'n Play, a mobile game where you could take a snapshot, create a game level with the picture, play it and share it. You could do it fast or sophisticated. Getting points both by playing and when others played the levels you shared. You could also play in adventure mode, to learn the way of the game. In some of the levels you could even win the things on the pictures you where actually playing. The game is still running giving playful breaks as we write.ResultWe reached and engaged the users in our target group. During the launch 10.000 apps where downloaded in few days, and apps are still downloaded every day. It engaged a lot of national and international PR and we received the FWA Mobilsite of the day 5.
