We ran the photo essay in Playboy magazine (Android version) and VIP magazine (iPad version), two of Brazil’s top men’s magazines.
The photo essay was connected to Marisa's e-commerce. When the lingerie was bought, the models would be undressed, and the reader would receive the lingerie at home.
8,000 new male customers in one month from the day the ad was published.
Marisa is a female fashion brand with an emphasis on lingerie, its best-selling product.
Nearly 100% of Marisa's customers were women.
But how could we change that? How could we bring men closer to the brand, and position Marisa as a good option for gifts?
Most men lack the habit and knowledge to buy lingerie, and that's why they end up choosing other gifts.
So we came up with Strip Commerce. In order to see the models with nothing on in a photo essay in Playboy magazine, the reader would have to buy the lingerie they were wearing.
