Synopsis:
This year McDonald’s celebrates 27 years in Russia – a big date which only matters to those who know how it started. When the first McDonald’s opened in Moscow it caused one of the longest lines in city history. Before that moment there were no places with cheap quality food. People who were in that line still remember this moment as one of the first signs of promising changes in Soviet Russia. However, the young generation has no idea what this event meant for their parents, as they grew up when McDonald’s was already there. To make this date more meaningful for younger people we needed to show them what it was like.
