There is no better time for New Yorkers to find a real life-long cuddly match in the form of a different type of companionship—a dog or cat from the ASPCA Adoption Center in NYC.  On the heels of National Love Your Pet Day and Valentine’s Day, OkCupid, the ASPCA and Draftfcb New York have teamed up to pair singles in NYC with their perfect companion. Since half of New York households are classified as “unmarried” and one in five people in NYC are between the ages of 20-34, we looked to create a meaningful connection.
OkCupid will match its New York members with adorable and adoptable cats and dogs from the ASPCA. The dog or cat profiles describe the animal’s personality and what makes them the perfect match. Every New York based OkCupid user who has indicated they are pet lovers will get the animal profile matches up to two times a day.
Each pet profile on OkCupid is a nod to the ASPCA’s successful Meet Your Match® program. Meet Your Match® is a unique research-based program that evaluates an animal’s personality and matches it to an adopter’s preferences so that you take home a pet you can really click with.
