Client Royal Canadian Mint
The challenge the Royal Canadian Mint gave us was to take coin collecting and history, and make them irresistible to children. The result was one 72,000 pixel wide parallaxing page. Countless hotspots and animations. All seamlessly delivered on both desktop & tablet using HTML5. The experience wove truth, fantasy, and Inuit mythology together and transformed children into Arctic Explorers. Their mission was to unlock 4 magical coins that would help them restore the balance between night and day and save the Heart of the Arctic.
