The festive period is stressful for most people – but with changes in routine, unfamiliar faces and chaotic family gatherings, it can be a challenging time for those with dementia.
This year, we wanted to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer’s Society, so instead of sending out a traditional Christmas card, we created a piece of direct mail that would simulate the confusion experienced by dementia sufferers over the festive period.
Our Christmas Easter eggs helped to keep dementia at the forefront of our clients’ minds over Christmas, and encouraged them to give what they could to support the AS. We had fantastic feedback from both the AS and our clients – many of which had experience of dealing with dementia in their own families.
