Nowadays, the biggest target of an online flower company is people in a relationship. To expand this target, we created an Facebook app for single people. The tool is so useful and funny that the 6 months sales goal was reached only in the second month of operation.
Implementation
Nowadays, timing can make all the difference when attracting someone. Therefore, we created the ultimate flirting tool. It works like this: connect with your Facebook account and select your friends (that are still in a relationship) you want to date. When some of these friends change their relationship status to "Single", you will be alerted automatically. Or even better: schedule a flower delivery.
Outcome
Over 17,500 were flowers sold through Single Flower in the first 3 months of operation, leading to an increase of 39% Facebook fans and reaching 500,000 people. And countless new couples. The breakeven point of the campaign (investment vs. sales) was reached only in the 2nd month of the app.
Client Brief Or Objective
Giuliana Flores, flower sales online leader in Latin America, wanted to reach a new target: single people. And, who knows, bring back a time when flowers were used as a powerful flirting tool.
