Description:
In 2016, the abduction of five Hong Kong booksellers made global headlines. Interrogated for selling controversial literature, only 4 have returned. Clear signs Hong Kong’s Basic Law that protects freedom of expression is under threat.
To highlight this we did the unthinkable and opened a bookstore. With one difference. Every book inside was redacted.
Amnesty International’s book store sold out in two days, with the campaign raising over a million dollars. Reminding people that every freedom needs a fighter.
