Ambient Execution Description
A fence showing figures knit into its mesh wire illustrates the dramatic situation of prisoners worldwide and their lifelong difficulties to break away from their traumata. The designers combined the ancient craft of lace making with the industrial chainlink fence. The result: Our political statement was told in a fresh and bold way appropriate for public spaces in our fast paced society.Today there are still 48 countries with political prisoners. Amnesty International wanted to call attention to the fact that political opponents often are imprisoned for years without any perspective.
