Ambient Execution Description
To launch a new face care line from Burt's Bees, we re-imagined the most boring forms of advertising imaginable: the coupon and the product demonstration. By constructing a billboard with more than 1300 coupons—and encouraging passers-by to peel them off throughout the day—we created and shot an interactive before-and-after product demonstration. The video then pushed viewers to Facebook, where they could learn more about the product line, and get a coupon of their own. The board was then repurposed as a rain catchment system at a local community garden where it works to this day.
