Introducing the world´s first holographic poster.
Humanity has always dreamed of making the visible unseen. Elephant Seven (e7) is now making the opposite dream, making the unseen visible, come true for its customer Mercedes-Benz. To do so, the agency brought the smartphone hologram that has been the subject of much hype online to the streets of Berlin. In an exclusive collaboration with WallDecaux, the Publicis Pixelpark subsidiary has developed a completely new advertising format in the form of the City Light Posters (CLP).
Andreas Prasse, Director of Sales and Marketing at Wall AG, on implementation of the campaign: "I am delighted that we have had the opportunity to partner with Mercedes-Benz and Elephant Seven to launch an innovative product feature on the WallDecaux City Light Posters. With our digital advertising media in two-square-metre format, we are able to stage outdoor advertising campaigns at Germany´s best locations in a new dimension of time and emotion."
The world´s first digital outdoor prisms are advertising the Blind Spot Assist feature of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. This feature, too, makes the unseen visible: It outwits the blind spot of the side mirror and warns the driver of vehicles in that area. And this is exactly what the digital outdoor prism makes visible.
Thanks to the hologram, the functionality of the Mercedes-Benz Blind Spot Assist feature is demonstrated to pedestrians walking past the CLPs as a 360° experience. Impressive, striking, convincing. In this way, the advertising impact of the CLPs is expanded to all four sides, with hologram technology transforming a simple CLP into a digital installation.
