In Portuguese the word for pain is "dor". It is also a common ending for words or expressions. So the idea is that if you take a Panadol, the "dor" disappears. For example, in English we would the ‘ache’ like in “The next day, my God! My head was like a po d egg. Panadol. The ache disappears”. It appeared where people wait for trains.
