Description of Ambient execution:

Radio Tango 105,8 is Oslo`s Rock ’n’ Roll radio. Year round, they bring Rock ’n’ Roll to their listeners in Oslo. As a Christmas preparation Radio Tango wanted to rock up the city with a competition.



The solution became a 20 ton ”heavy metal” experience. A live stunt where carillonneur Vegard Sandholt at Oslo City Town Hall recited one rock n roll classic on his 20 ton heavy bells every Wednesday through December. If the radio listeners or the people on the streets of Oslo recognized the rock classic the Town Hall played they could send their answers as an SMS to the radio station to join in and win great prizes.



To promote this Christmas competition we produced web banners, flyers and poster. Facebook and twitter was also frequently used as well as promos on the radio station.



The competition was talked about on a number of blogs, on Facebook, in evening newspapers and twitter. As a result this competition was the most successful competition Radio Tango ever had.
